So many labels ans so much confusion. I have an 01 SLK 230 Kompressor with a sport kit. No AMG labels but there is a sport emblem on each fron quarter panel. It is obvious to me the body changes that come with the kit but are there any suspension and brake upgrades as well? I recently had to change the front rotors and pads for inspection (I used power slot cryo treated rotors and akebono euro ceramics) and the calipers seemed very typical OEM with single pistons etc. And since it is my first SLK or even mercedes for that matter I am not sure what usually comes with one for brakes and suspension.
Although I am satisfied with my new rotors and pads I was really Jonesing for the Brembo GT 355 big brake kits they are definitely out of my price league. |
