Assuming you will drive down on a Sunday, the 9th, it's a seven hour drive non stop at the speed limit down Pacific Coast Highway (hwy 1) from Pebble Beach to Dana Point. A 12 hour Sunday drive with 5 hours stopping and gawking.
You could cut another two hours off the driving time by taking the 101 out of Ventura to the 405 to the 5 down to Dana Point. | Thanks TSlick. Yes, I will be playing Pebble on Friday and Spanish Bay on Sunday. We will actually be driving down on Monday the 10th. Any thoughts on a good resort in the Santa Barbera area on the way up? I think they have a Four Seasons, but it's about $700 a night.
