Yes you can expect them to be significantly lighter than a cast 18 stock rim. EX is the 030 rims (which are heavier than the normal rims) are over 32lbs a piece.

Larger tires will be heavier but it is not enough to offset the massive difference between UL forged rims vs cast. Also weights of same size tires are different dependant on make and brand.

ALso there is one other aspect that I would like to bring up. STRENGTH of the rim. the forged rims are significantly stronger than cast. Work in the costs of repairing bent rims or replacing a cracked rim ... I'd go forged every time.
