Not sure how many dealers simply use the plate anymore because you can stick some privates on instead with whatever registration mark you like so you could have an 03 car marked up as an 06 for example and if the dealer where to accept that they would have a problem.

Will probably get your delivery date from Mercedes Benz and use that instead
