I don't know what you mean by 57. But if it is a 2008 model, I think it makes a difference when it comes to reselling your car in the next few years. If you plan to keep your SLK for more than 10 years, it doen't matter much but if you usually change your cars less than 5 years after having purchased them, it may be worth waiting for the new model. When I ordered my car on April 15, 2005, there were no 2005 left already and I had to order a 2006. My salesman told me this was bad news AND good news.
