Dan, don't worry about the price I'll get the salesman to look into it (that's what his commission is for!). I'm just wanting a set of wheels that aren't going to be a pain in the arse to clean! I thought seeing as I'm getting the car from new I'd be able to weigh the standard ones in against an upgraded set of AMG's and not pay full list price.
Gero, I really like the car and the registration plate MIG453 is quite fitting, no not because I think it looks like a welding machine
, I mean it bears striking resemblance to a jet fighter! The wheels are great but I think I'd have a preference to put on AMG ones, despite knowing that I'm going to pay through the nose for them (so to speak!!)
Alroumi, I do like the Designo gearshift badge but again I think I'd like an AMG one (why? I don't know?? Maybe it's because I want to see what car I'm driving when I hold the palm of my hand up to the rear view mirror? dyageddit?)
