Come on yall don't want a kazoo with a blow off valve? I don't think I would have bought my SLK55 if it had come with a V6 (FI or NA). I mean the sweet sound is a big thing for me.
I would say they are looking at a V6 for weight reduction and emissions.
Granted I didn't buy my SLK55 new but I don't think I could drop $70,000usd on a SLK with a V6. Just seems cheap.
Plus I guess it would be similar to Acura putting a 2.3L turbo I-4 in their 4200lb small suv. Uh sure it makes 240hp and 260tq but it still sucks balls. Anyway I know I shouldn't have brought up Acura in a MB forum but anyway. Carry on. |
