Can you definately swap the steering wheels. The steering wheel on my car i think is A171 460 22 03 9e37 (slk55amg 2005 model with buttons on the back of it). On this forum i have been told i can just swap it for a A171 460 53 03 9e37 but when speaking to Mercedes they say the airbags are different and that i cannot just swap it.

I do not want to spend £1000 on a steering wheel (which they say i cannot return as it is a special order item) if i cannot swap it over.

Has anyone actually swapped there's?
