 Rubbing problem
Hi all!
I have replaced the standard SLK200 rims for 8x17 with 225/45-17 Bridgestones and I have also added 15mm spacers to move the wheels more out. The car is lowered 40mm at the front. In some situations the front wheels are getting in contact with a metal profile which is located at the fender/front spoiler fastening. A sharp edge cuts the tyres so I had to grind the corners of the profile away.
I have seen several very low SLKs in this forum with wide tyres. Has anybody had the same problem? |
