But fine, performance-wise, twin-turbo sounds nice and all, but did you see that magazine write-up about the 335i vs. G37 that had the G37 beating the 335i across the board, especially after the 335i's turbos gave out and the car was in "limp-home" mode? I'd stay with NA or low-boost supercharging for reliability.
Exclusivity is almost minimal now. Granted I do see E90/E92 3-series here in LA like blondes in Beverly Hills...there's a couple on every block. The R171 isn't that rare now either, but I still think it looks better than any BMW. So...I guess fashion over function is the verdict, but I can always seek to improve the function part of the R171.
I wouldn't buy a BMW anymore. The new W204 looks pretty ***y though. =) |
I hate the new interior too, it's too bland and boring, I agree that MB has better interiors, that the best I hate most about the new 3-series.
I have not seen that review but from what I've heard from my brother, the new 335i has tons of mechanical issues, not reliable at all, many people are selling them before they get worst.
The 335i doesn't look bad, I'm beginning to see them around, looks better in person.
Yes, the new W204 does look good.
