Comptech is so cheap compared to Kleemann *sigh*. With this new generation of ~$35k cars coming out that will beat out the SLK350...I might really have to go for the ECU upgrade. This includes:
IS350/IS500, 335i/M3Cab, G35/G37...even some cheap sedans are getting high enough hp to be even/slightly faster than our 350's, like Maxima/Altima 3.5, Accord V6 with mods...
Granted, my car is super heavy with heavy 19's, a 30 pound subwoofer box and the spare in the trunk. I'm probably pulling 5.6-5.7 in 0-60 because of so much literal junk in the trunk.
There's got to be more power options that what's been beaten to death...best combo for under $1000 is Green Filter/ECU upgrade ($700). After that, it gets really expensive. I'm almost out of warranty at 42k miles (I'm scared for my vario roof)...so I don't really care about voiding warranty anymore. |
