Picked up my 2007 slk 280 on monday and already got some beautiful 18" wheels on. Looks great. Thanks for everyones help with that. Will get some pics up asap!
I have 18 inch wheels with with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. There fullrun tyres and i set them at 34 - 36 psi to start with. All was good until i went out in a very heavy downpour and the back end kept slidin not even going at high speed. According to their website they recommend 42 psi. That sounds a bit high to me. What pressures would you recommend?? All the wheels are 8.5" if that helps. Look forward to a response. Thanks for your help.
