I would recommend getting the OEM windscreen through German dealers that sell on ebay, they still cost less (save at least $100) than what the dealers charge (even with 10% discount from the dealer) after shipping. Check out this link: http://www.slkworld.com/slk-r171-gen...y-germany.html
If not, PM OWL-SLK. Here's from a PM Gero (OWL-SLK) sent regarding OEM windscreen: "here is the adress of the mercedes dealer which is offering the windscreens:
Mercedes Benz
DaimlerChrysler AG
OstWestfalenLippe
Am Stadtholz 35
33609 Bielefeld
Germany.
Phone +49-521-3020
Fax +49-521-302590
Mr. Klaus Nagel
you just have to tell him that you are send by me (Gero Mertens) then everything will be okay. he is are real nice man."
Cruzer 7 got the one with special edition etched on it (cost a little extra) through Gero but I don't know if this is still available. I believe he's (cruzer 7) quite satisfied with the price and service. Hope you guys save a few significant bucks.
Shipping usually takes 2 weeks from Germany.
