Default i have replaced my resonator with straight pipes..

hey dan, i just have a quick question for you.
i had my resonator removed and replaced with aluminum straight pipes at a local muffler shop. they welded aluminums pipes to replace the resonator. i love the loudness of my exhaust now, and the deep growl is just amazing. the question is since they used aluminum staight pipes instead of stainless steel, would that mean my pipes are prone to rusting? they said aluminum wont rust, but i am new this stuff so i'm not really sure. is there any chance my engine can overheat or anything that can go wrong? thanks for the support as always
