How about a Las Vegas Oktober fest style meet? A lot of car clubs do it...the meet will span 2 or 3 days (or more). First day is usually concours style show, and picnic/meet and greet, and then formal dinner, second day consists of runs and tech discussions, etcetera.

Las vegas is a great place, cheap airfare, lot's of hotel selection, entertainment for the rest of the family...i'm pretty sure all of the west coast, and midwest can drive here, and some east coast may be able to make it, and the rest can fly in? Also, one thing that works, is people with a spare seat will agree to drive another east coast member around whenever it's car related? I did this with my mbcoupes (SEC & SL) meet, it's a lot of fun, great turnout, and reasonable expense.

I know of another club that is doing one in September, maybe we can get together with them also? they are getting great rates at a big hotel, and are really organized when it comes to meets and such...
