EXCELLENT statement Wooly. I've seen some gloating (comments made) over the past year. Does "wannabe" sound familiar. Almost, if not 100% on the other forums. I was never envious of the owners, but the SLK 55 itself. If it was SLK 55 or nothing, we wouldn't have considered keeping the SLK 350. I also drive a Mazda6, VW NewBeetle and a Toyota truck, but the SLKs are my favorites.
