I had "AMG envy", but I've since gotten over it. Seriously, my wife and I have a nice 2006 350 which we love. The more I was on this forum, the more I wanted a SLK 55. I've since gotten one, used 2005. It's everything I thought it would be. I was even out yesterday washing it between rain showers after a Saturday trip to Roanoke, VA. It's everything a SLK should be, but for some the SLK 280 or 350 is as much car as they need. My wife is well suited to the SLK 350 and myself, I'm a SLK 55 guy. Good luck.
