No worries mate there is no easy way to shut down the system without knowing what fuses to pull, stripping the dash out to get at the connectors or pulling the battery.

These things are so hard to steal anyways, the latest trends are either getting a towing eye on the car and pulling it up into a lined container then gutting it and selling the parts or breaking into the owners house and simply stealing the keys because its so much easier.

There are systems that require 2 keys to start the car one being the MB smartkey and the other a key card and if its not in range when you try and start the car a solenoid thats installed in a hardened case and welded to the starter disconnects the battery feed so the thing wont spin-up and the engine wont fire, some also have sirens so they sound if somebody tries to start the car without both keys.
