Problem was, after you change it, and turn off the car, it resets back to US default. With the older 2005 DVD, a member of another forum was actually able to do this mod, and keep it working. I tried the same steps on the 2006.1 with no luck
I may start looking into this again, perhaps i had the voice files off your DVD, i may have a better clue how to mod the US one, or perhaps someone else out there with more knowledge can look into it. |
Where did you find that mod? THat would be cool. I searched a while ago for mods to be able to replace the files with new voice files (was going to have a client from Germany do the instructions in her accent) and did not find too much.
