I had a screw get in my tire and make it go flat. I just made it to my work parking lot. And it was winter with about 4 inches of snow, so I wasn't getting out and changing to the little blow-up tire.
So I pressed the Wrench button. Tire repair guy came over in about 20 minutes, removed and plugged the tire in the parking lot, and the amount he wanted was... wait for it... IT WAS FREE.
And I don't have any extra coverage (other than tele-aid).
Why don't you just press the button rather than drive 4 hours? Of course, the SLK IS fun to drive...
