I had already bought the bluetooth puck on ebay. When I took it in for installation, they disassembled the vehicle and discovered I needed the core kit (BQ6820955) and microphone (BQ 4820122) in addition to the completion kit... an additional $900 parts and labor. Total, $1,500 plus the bluetooth puck. They buttoned the car back up and returned it to me...

Bottom line: in 2007, the premium package 3 "prewiring" means exactly that: all the wires are installed, but none of the hardware. If you think you want "factory" bluetooth in a new vehicle, spring for the $1,000 option because it is a deal compared to adding (the MB option) later.

I have the Star Bulletin P-I-82.70/416, so I KNOW what is involved with installing it. I had considered amassing the various parts on e-bay and installing it myself, but you have to code it into the car with Star Diagnostics which is where I hit the wall... bummer.
