It really depends on how much money you have to spend.

If money isn't an issue I would replace the speakers behind the seats with anything. Remember that those current speakers are "free-air" which means that when you drop the top you probably lose ALL of your bass because they are not in an enclosure.

If you find a good stereo shop like I did you can custom build kick panels down at your feet under the dash and the bass will be 10 times better, tighter and when you drop the top you don't lose anything.

Components:

Alpine IVAD310 with the DVD/NAVigation module

BatCap Model 400 (For power...no added car battery for extra power......400 Peak Amps for 8 Seconds)

JL Audio 6W0 6 inch Sub x 2 (Replaces sub behind each seat)

JL Audio ZR650 - CSI (6.5 inch (160mm) seperates)

McIntosh MCC446 6 channel amplifier
110w x 2/55w x 4 (Less than .005% THD)

Amp/Crossovers and Batcap is mounted in the "Hole" in the trunk with plexiglass cover so you can see in. Also the amp is sitting on risers so when you look into the trunk it will look as if the amp is "floating" in mid air.

The place in Tampa, FL who did the job is "Sensous Sound Systems".
