OK then i would start shotgunning the parts that could be affected so replace a few candidates and drive the car if no change move onto the next possible culprits and so on.

Things like this are hard to fix because the damage might be internal to parts and not visible to the eye and how a car feels is not detectable to a tech who drives it for like 10 minutes, only the owner can say how it feels because they are the ones who drive it on a day to day basis and make sure they know that you will be the judge of how well it drives not them

Where i work we take cars for quick test drives to make sure there are no obvious things that jump out at us then we offer the owner a drive and they normally pick up any feelings that are not right because they have the experience of the car and know exactly how it should respond to commands
