When I ordered my '06 SLK 350 in August of 2005, I had never seen an R171 SLK with a red interior. After ordering my car, I saw two silver/red R171's, but still no Firemist Red/red cars. In several months, I will order an '07 Porsche Cayman with exterior and interior colors that I have never seen, either together or even separately (the interior is a special color, and the exterior color is new for 2007). Sometimes, you just need to make a leap of faith, and trust in your instinct as to what you might like. If you are happy with your taste in colors, and know what you generally prefer in the way of exterior and interior colors (e.g., light metallic exterior, darker interior to contrast with the exterior), you will most likely be pleasantly surprised when your new car arrives. Perhaps best of all, people will come up to you and ask where you found such a great combination ("All my dealer ever has in stock is -----with a-----interior"--you fill in the blanks). Dinoman |
