Because the MOST is a ring it all has to be connected to each other for it to fire up sometimes you can get things like the changer eject to work with just the power line sometimes not i think with the newer ones it needs to be connected it works about 50% of the time on mine when the odd CD jam occurs.
Glad you got your CD's back mate MB says that the drive conforms to the specs about thickness of the disks but i don't think it does CD jams happen way to often for a unit that is within the specs as far as i am concerned.
MB are as tight as a ducks arse when it comes to money mate i think i would need to save the life of the CEO to even be considered for a free car and even then it would prob be a C-Class diesel but so long as i saved you a trip to the stealer and all the crap that goes along with it then i am happy.
